DAVID carpenter
David Carpenter grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Central Arkansas in 2004, and was awarded a Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Louisiana State University in 2010. Over the past decade, David has been making and showing art. From 2005-2007 his was the manager of Franconia Sculpture Park. Since the summer of 2009 he has been part of the international artist collective Expanded Draught. After graduating in 2010, he started teaching full time at University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College. He started Big Rock Sculpture Park in 2014, and now lives in his hometown with his wonderful wife and their incredible sons.
